In 2006 it was completely rebuilt and will be automated in 2026. The formerly hand-operated lock is one of twelve locks in the Finow Canal. Today, it is operated by the water wanderer themselves. There are waiting areas for paddle and sports boats in the upper and lower lock areas. Dimensions: Lock chamber 41.05 m long, 9.60 m wide, upper gate 5.25 m and lower gate 5.29 m wide. The lift is 3.60 m.
