A great tour around the lake with beautiful scenery, virtually no traffic, plenty of places to stop for refreshments, and a ferry ride – definitely an experience. Some gravel roads with very fine white gravel, and lots of asphalt.

The Frauenkirchen Jewish Cemetery is located on the southern outskirts of Frauenkirchen on St. Andräer Street. In 1934, the Jewish Community of Frauenkirchen still had 368 members. As a result of the Anschluss with Nazi Germany, the Jewish population was expelled and murdered. The synagogue was also destroyed. The cemetery contains 1,320 graves on an area of 5,700 m². In 1994, the cemetery was restored by the Schalom Association. A new gate was also built. In its renovated state, the cemetery was handed over to the community for further maintenance. The cemetery is easily visible from the street side – if you are visiting in person, please collect the key to the main gate from Frauenkirchen Town Hall! (Mon-Thu from 8.00-12.00 & 13.00-16.00 | Fri from 8.00-12.00)
