This lakeside promenade is brilliant. Even non-botanists can admire great, old subtropical plants and fantastic seasonal flower arrangements here. In spring, the snowfields of the mountains on the southern shore (Haute Savoie) compete with the sparkling and glittering stars on the waves of Lake Geneva. A dream.

While elsewhere winter still reigns deep, here the first signs of spring are already emerging. Dreamy.

Montreux Covered Market, Montreux Built at the end of the 19th century, the "Marché Couvert" (Covered Market) was a gift to the city of Montreux from Henri Nestlé. The metal structure of the market hall is inspired by the famous Halles de Victor Baltard in Paris. Located directly on the lake and just steps from most hotels, it is the ideal venue for your event. The market hall can accommodate 800 people for a dinner and 1,000 for a cocktail party. Text / Source: Montreux-Vevey Tourism https://www.montreuxriviera.com/de/P75746/marche-couvert-de-montreux

Across seven cantons of Switzerland, hikers experience a diverse culture, geology and topography. Quiet relaxation oases alternate with prosperous tourist resorts. Wide roads end in dizzyingly airy ridge paths. There is no better way to get to know Swiss Alpine culture in all its facets. The ultra-modern Alp with pipelines and its showroom is on the way, as is the Alpine hut, where pigs, goats and cows watch the Alpine farmer making cheese in the "Kupferchessi" over the open fire. You go from a cozy family holiday resort to the sophisticated Gstaad. One of the world's most diverse animal and plant worlds lines the route. Shifts, overthrusts, depressions and rock falls are evidence of interestingly structured geology. Breathtaking panoramas alternate with small beauties along the way and the restaurants offer a wide variety of delicacies. Text / Source: SchweizMobil https://schweizmobil.ch/de/wanderland/route-1
