Książ Castle (German: originally Vorstinburg, then Fürstenstein, and in the years 1945–1947 "Książno"). It was built in the years 1288–1292, probably on the site of a former wooden stronghold destroyed in 1263. The building has over 400 rooms, and approximately 600 including utility rooms.

From this place there is probably the most beautiful view of the Książ Castle. At the bottom of the terrace there is a path to the ruins of the old castle.

The view of the castle from the front is impressive. It's similar with the interior of the castle. I recommend visiting the castle with an audioguide set.
