The Nepomuk Chapel dates from 1737 and was intended to replace the chapel inside the castle. The Carmelites held their masses here, which was prohibited from 1795 onwards. In 1973, the chapel was restored and placed under state monument protection. Since 1986, the chapel has been the seat of the Historische Vereniging Nepomuk Boxmeer.

The station, which is located on the Maaslijn, was opened in 1883. The white station building of the Hemmen type was built in 1882. The architect is M.A. van Wadenoyen, who also designed Venray station. Boxmeer station is an asymmetrical building, the high part of which is furnished as a residence. The entrance doors to the mini-supermarket (incidentally without ticket sales), are located in the middle of the facade. The station also serves as inspiration for the Dutch station in the Japanese Huis Ten Bosch.

The place that van Hout has occupied in the community since 1908 (initially as a clog factory) is indispensable. For a long time it was the only veneer factory in the Netherlands and then grew into an international timber company, mainly in tropical hardwood from Gabon, Siberia and Suriname. The timber factory symbolised the solidarity and can-do mentality of Mill and provided a large part of the employment in the region for many years. The now deceased former director Toon van Hout was responsible for the construction of the chimney in 1943. When the chimney reached 55 metres, the masons came to him to report that there were still bricks left. Uncle Toon said: โโHere are some food stamps and put the rest on it too.โโ With those food stamps the masons were able to get two loaves of rye bread from Pijpersโ baker. โWell, it was war, wasnโt it?โโ Source and more information: kliknieuwsdemaasdriehoek.nl

The stone chimney on the former site of the Van Hout wood factory in Mill has been defining the skyline of Mill for years and stands out because of the life-size letters "van Hout". "At van Hout, even the tower is made of wood", was a common joke in Mill and is therefore called 'the biggest liar of Mill'. source: ontdekmill.nl

The St Rochus Chapel (1500) is located at the roundabout in the centre of Boxmeer. In the chapel, a relic of Rochus is displayed on the altar. On the outside of the chapel, on the south-facing corner next to the entrance door, a second image of Rochus is placed with a dog next to him. The chapel is open during the day. Benches are placed against the chapel.
