Great landmark visible from miles around. Dominates the the skyline of north St Austell. Made from waste sand, from the near by Baal pit a now disused china clay pit, which was a filming location for doctor who in the 1970/80's. Easily accessible from the clay trails which link the clay villages with St Austell Bay. Also makes a great viewing point of St Austell bay and surrounding areas
