A beautiful hike from Kühndorf (visit the Johaniter church fortress!) via the Flugschule Quax with ultralight aircraft (also catered and scenic flights possible) to the Dolmarhaus with good gastronomy. Great view of Grabfeld, Rhön and Werratal from above. Annual 'Dolkosh' meeting at the Flugschule with dozens of aircraft!

In the Kühndorf cemetery church, dating from 1617 and also used as a cemetery museum, one can find numerous epitaphs (grave markers), crosses, and funeral crowns (woven wreaths placed on the heads of unmarried deceased). The galleries and the benches on the galleries, made of rough wood, date from this period.
