“Only” 297 steps or approx. 60 meters of “climb” – then you stand on the closed viewing platform of the approximately 65 m high wind turbine, type E-66. Fortunately, you don't have to climb the stairs outside as usual, but rather "comfortably" and safely via the spiral staircase inside the tower. At the top there is a magnificent view over the East Frisian landscape and the roar of the 30 meter long rotors. In Germany there are only two accessible wind turbines.
