In Schleswig-Holstein, schools have the opportunity to recognize outstanding work in European education with the "European School" certificate. This demonstrates their special commitment to preparing students and trainees for life and work in an international context, while simultaneously encouraging them to help shape our shared future in Europe. The school's mission is to raise awareness of the rapprochement between European peoples and states and the reorganization of their relationships. It should contribute to fostering a sense of European solidarity among the younger generation and developing an understanding that European connections are at work in many areas of our lives and that European decisions are required. The school also has the mission of fostering and developing respect for and interest in the diversity of languages and cultures, and this is precisely what is being implemented here at the European School in Schwarzenbek. https://www.schleswig-holstein.de/DE/fachcontente/B/bildungInternational/europa.html?nn=581ff20a-336c-4643-a754-75b253f7fbdd

Our cemeteries are gardens of life. A variety of deciduous and coniferous trees, high-quality plantings, grow in the parks in the heart of Schwarzenbek and close to the community. They are oases of peace that invite reflection and relaxation. Hardly any cemetery visitor is left unmoved by the fascinating spectacle of the seasons. A tour of the cemeteries is closely linked to the various gravesites, such as the Urn Garden, Quiet Corner, Birch Grove, Perennial Garden, Rhododendron Grove, and Sun Field. People who are often in similar situations meet in the cemeteries. These encounters can provide comfort to the bereaved and broaden their path forward. Therefore, it is important to maintain our two cemeteries as they are and continually adapt them to changing circumstances. The "New Cemetery" on Möllner Straße (first established in 1893) offers people from the Northeast area, Mühlenkamp, and all other residents a place to bury their loved ones. In the chapel, which was taken over from the parish in 2018 by the local Möller Funeral Home and extensively renovated on their behalf, dignified funeral services are once again held, and relatives can say their goodbyes on site. After the chapel's renovation, other events such as church services, concerts, and readings are also possible and planned. Both cemeteries are open to burials of all denominations and people of diverse spirituality. Thus, Schwarzenbek's cemeteries always reflect the current social mix. https://www.kirche-schwarzenbek.de/friedhof/unsere-friedhoefe.html

Thanks for the current 10 positive likes, but why 7 negative ones? Is my text really that bad, or what other reasons are there? I would be happy if one of the "negative" ones commented here, so I can learn from my "mistakes." Thank you. 😉

Currently, 8 positive and 8 negative likes are polarizing...why? That's the question...opinions are always very different and that's a good thing, whatever the reason... Long live freedom of speech! 😉 With the photos, there are even only 2 positive and 3 negative...are the photos really that bad, or what could be the real reason for this...? Are the envy and resentment still so pronounced, or what am I doing wrong? I'd be really interested to know... Maybe someone will come out of hiding...just have the courage to tell the truth and not always just anonymous criticism. I would be really happy and expressly welcome it; that's the only way I can learn from it.👋👏😎👍
