Coming from Schmogrow, this complex is located at a very interesting "junction" from which you can continue to Burg or the surrounding area.

The nave has galleries on four sides, with two stories on the north and south sides. Like the galleries, the formerly painted beamed ceiling was reconstructed in 1960 after the destruction of 1945. The ceiling painting, which primarily depicts crops, earned the church the nickname "Vegetable Church." The other wooden furnishings date from the first half of the 18th century and originally stood in the Riedebeck village church. Of particular note is the pulpit, connected to the pastor's chair surrounded by a wooden grille, with a square pulpit basket and a picture of the Crucifixion. In addition to the floating baptismal angel, the altarpiece, restored in 1958, is also noteworthy. The organ in the church was built in 1972 by Jehmlich Orgelbau Dresden.[1] On the outside of the north wall are eight 18th-century gravestones belonging to the von Schönfeldt, von Pannwitz, and von Stutterheim families. The church was built of brick in the late Gothic style. The nave dates back to the first half of the 15th century and was extended in 1743 with the addition of a choir with a three-sided end. A barrel-vaulted vestibule was probably built south of the nave at the time of its construction. The vestibule is characterized by a pillared gable and portals designed as pointed arches. The nave windows were redesigned in the Baroque period. A gate on the south side was bricked up. The square church tower, located west of the nave and only slightly recessed into the nave, dates from the second half of the 15th century. It is 42 meters high and has three upper stories resting on a smooth base. The tower façade is structured by rows of blind arches. At the top is a crenellated crown, above which rises a pointed stone helmet. The tower hall, located on the ground floor of the tower, has a cross-ribbed vault. On October 1, 1751, a separate parish was established in Burg, located to the northwest of the village, which had previously belonged to Werben. In 1911, the portal on the west side was renovated. The same applies to the tracery frieze and eaves cornice in the nave. During the fighting for Werben toward the end of World War II, the church burned down in April 1945. Reconstruction lasted until 1962. The upper part of the tower was restored in 1993. Since February 2014, Werben Village Church has been a cycle path church.
