Located directly on the water, you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the Flensburg Fjord and can watch sailboats, some of which depart from the nearby base of the German Offshore Sports Association HANSA (DHH). The waterfront promenade invites you to take a leisurely picnic break or visit a café before continuing on toward Glücksburg or Flensburg city center. A visit to the DHH's long-established yacht schools, where sailors from all over the world have been trained for almost 100 years, is particularly worthwhile.

The noble estate of Freienwillen (formerly Langhbalgaard or Danish: Langballegård) in Langballig is one of the oldest estates in North Anglesea (Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein). Freienwillen was reduced in size (parceled) and sold several times over the centuries. In 1837, it still had a size of 554 bushels.[1] The estate has been owned by the Hansen family for over 100 years and is now run as a farm by the fourth generation. The manor house, unlike the farm buildings, has been preserved. SOURCE: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gut_Freienwillen
