This chapel is dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Myra and is among the oldest buildings in the region. Once a place of worship for the priory housing a few monks, it rose in the heart of a generous forest, property of the lord of Estavayer. These venerable religious were entrusted with the noble mission of sanitizing and building a prosperous agricultural village.

A wonderful patch of earth to enjoy and switch off. The mostly only ankle-deep stream bed invites you to splash and bathe your feet. Fireplaces and the like are rare. The emphasis here is on pure nature.
