Kraamer Oak Natural Monument The local community's heraldic tree stands directly on the village street. It is an ancient pedunculate oak protected as a natural monument. According to the natural monument list, the tree is said to have sprouted before the year 1600, making it at least 426 years old. The tree's breast height varies due to its steep slope. The survey indicates 5.85 m at the top of the slope and 6.24 m at the bottom. If you strike the middle of both measurements, the trunk diameter is 6 m. The sharply tapered, conical growth of this very shapely oak resulted in a laser-assisted height measurement in November 2017, measuring 29 m tall with a crown diameter of 27 m. What an impressive, impressive witness to history.

Nice idea - also useful - but unfortunately useless if not a single driver stops.

On the farm, volunteers look after old animals that are no longer useful for agriculture. The visit is worthwhile, as is a conversation with those involved.
