The Kleiningersheim Castle thrones on a steep rocky spur high above the Neckar Valley and offers one of the most beautiful panoramic views in the region. The charming Renaissance castle was built from 1565 onwards by Knight Kaspar Nothafft von Hochberg right next to an old castle ruin and was baroqueised in 1706. A special feature of the complex is its rectangular inner courtyard with its artistic, two-story wooden galleries. As the castle is privately owned and inhabited today, it cannot be visited from the inside.

The name is reminiscent of the region's hunting history. From a geological perspective, it is a protected erosion form (rock ledge) above the characteristic Enz loops.
