It's easy to drive now that the bend has been cut short in spring.

Despite the concrete trail, you are riding through a very beautiful, natural landscape.

The listed building is a Low German half-timbered house from the 17th century. The entire ensemble consists of a residential building, a half-timbered barn (one of the last three drive-through barns in the Plön district), a pigsty and a bakery. It was lovingly renovated from 2002 to 2010 based on old models. Old parts of the house were preserved as far as possible and combined with new ones. https://www.urlaub-unter-reet.net/unser-haus/

A truly exceptionally large barn worth seeing.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any further information about the barn/building. As I drove past, I felt like I had to stop for a moment to look at the building for a while longer.

The information board says: "This boundary stone on the border between Löptin and the Depenau estate dates from the second half of the 18th century. At that time, Löptin belonged to the Preetz monastery district. And Holstein, although it belonged to Germany in constitutional terms, was ruled by Denmark."
