Swimming area on the Großer Plöner See (Great Plön Lake) with a sandy beach, playground, and sunbathing lawn. The long, sandy beach is the ideal swimming spot for families. A sunbathing lawn, benches, a hammock, a slide, mini-golf, and a small playground invite you to linger. The water is gently sloping and marked with a non-swimmer's boundary. Shady spots and a jetty into the water are available, as are changing facilities and restrooms.

A small, secluded swimming spot on Lake Wielen. Perfect for a break or a quick dip in the water. 👍

Wittmoldt doesn't really have much to offer. But here at the turning circle near the bus stop, there's a large fenced-in play and sunbathing area that leads all the way to the Schwentine lake. Below, there's a very spacious swimming area on the wooden jetty.

The Plön Water Tower is located in the east of the town of Plön on Scharweg. The water tower was built in 1913 according to plans by the Bremen engineer Carl Franke. Stylistically, it is classified as late Art Nouveau or Reform Architecture. After its closure in 1974, it was initially scheduled for demolition, but in 1977 it became one of the first industrial and technical monuments to be listed as a historical monument in Schleswig-Holstein.
