The church at Alt Großziethen 29 dates back to the 13th century. In 1877, the fieldstone church was given a neo-Gothic tower made of red bricks, attributed to Friedrich Stüler, a student of the Berlin architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel (1781–1841). During the First World War, two bronze bells were "taken to the bell collection point in Britz to be melted down," according to the chronicle. A smaller one remained, and in 1919, the chimes were supplemented by three steel bells.
