One of countless streams flowing down the mountain. It's always beautiful to look at. And a great way to cool off when it's very warm, because the water is always cool.

Simply because it's a nice idea, even without the witches' dance floor on the Brocken. Or this is where the brooms go when it's all over. The witches dance on the Brocken on the night of April 30th to May 1st, i.e., during Walpurgis Night. The Brocken, also called Blocksberg, is the highest mountain in the Harz Mountains and is traditionally considered the site of the witches' sabbath gathering. Walpurgis Night is a custom celebrated on the night of April 30th to May 1st. It dates back to pagan spring festivals and the legend of the witches' dance on the Brocken. According to legend, witches meet on the Brocken and dance with the devil to welcome spring.

bear territory! Certainly exciting for children because there are lots of metal animals to be found. According to the local resident, the Alm is only open at weekends. I couldn't go further with the dog because the cows blocked the path and the forest is too dense to walk around. The ground in the gorge is unfavorable for sensitive paws. But we did it because it was at least a cool walk during heat waves. Parking is available for a handful of cars
