The former Capuchin monastery with the Capuchin church is one of the significant historical buildings in Haslach im Kinzigtal. The monastery was founded in the 17th century and was an important religious site in the town for a long time. The simple Capuchin church corresponds to the traditional architecture of the Capuchins: rather restrained in design, with a simple church interior and a calm atmosphere. The monastery shaped the spiritual life of Haslach for centuries. Today, the historical ensemble is a reminder of the town's long monastic and church history and, together with the half-timbered houses of the old town, forms a worthwhile piece of Haslach's history.

The Historic Town Hall of the town of Haslach is located directly on the central market square, in the middle of the listed old town. After devastating town fires in the 18th century, the town hall was rebuilt from 1733 onwards in the imposing Baroque style. It significantly shapes the historic streetscape of the market square. The eye-catchers of the facade are the magnificent portal, the coat of arms of the Princes of Fürstenberg, as well as the characteristic turret with clock and bell. The building still serves today as the seat of the town administration and the mayor of Haslach im Kinzigtal.

The old town of Haslach in the Kinzigtal valley is one of the most beautiful historic town centers in the Central Black Forest. During a tour, the numerous lovingly restored half-timbered houses, narrow alleys, and small squares, which give the town its characteristic Black Forest flair, are particularly striking. The heart of the old town is the market square with the historic town hall. Also worth seeing are the Mühlenkapelle (mill chapel), the Haslacher Tor (Haslach Gate), and the numerous old burgher houses. Haslach was granted town rights as early as 1278 and developed into an important place in the Kinzigtal valley, primarily through mining and trade. Today, cafés, inns, and shops invite you to linger. A walk through the old town along the Kinzig river, where history, half-timbered architecture, and the landscape of the Kinzigtal valley combine, is particularly beautiful.
