This "little train", as the facility in Hainstadt is called, transported clay, not gravel, in wagons from the "Lehmkaute" to the brickworks in town. The Lehmkaute can still be found today in the forest, at the height of the "Katzenbuckel", our local mountain. In the last brickworks still in operation, imported clay is processed. The "little train" now only runs to the owners' private events.
