Not far from Annabrunn in the Flossinger Forest you will find this large sandy beach. Perfect for cooling off, especially in midsummer! On the "Uferidylle am Inn" hike, this beach is the first of five and therefore a first highlight! https://www.inn-salzach.com/a-innstrand-muehldorf-a-inn

Sitting right on the cliff and enjoying the view of the Inn! After a 10-kilometer hike, it's worth taking a well-deserved breather here! Coming from Hörndlberg, it may also be accessible with a stroller. Coming from Gweng, there are a few places to climb and the path is more of a narrow path. This section is not recommended with a stroller. More about the Prallhang, the Heistinger Wand on the Inn: https://www.inn-salzach.com/a-heistinger-wand

Sometimes it feels like you're on holiday on the Mediterranean! When you walk along the banks of the Inn, you have soft forest floor or sand under your feet and the pines around you are reminiscent of Italian pine forests. The last undeveloped impact wall (the outside of a river's curve) of the Inn is at your feet here. It's better to keep dogs on a leash and children by the hand, as you are actually walking right along the cliff. The Heistinger Wand, also known as Hörndlberg, is up to 45 meters high and one of the highest bank cliffs in Central Europe. The erosion of the slope is an impressive natural spectacle: As the ice age gravel slope on the ever-growing outer radius of the river continues to sink, boulders and large pines keep falling into the river. https://www.inn-salzach.com/a-heistinger-wand

Perfect for cooling off with your dog on hot days! The typical Inn-Salzach gravel invites young and old to admire it or to flick stones around. You can bury your feet in the sand, build castles or just dig. Of course you have to keep an eye on children and dogs, the Inn has a strong current here! There is still a beach even when the water level is high. The access to the Inn is relatively flat at this point and there is even a wooden bench with a table to sit on! You could spend a very long time here ;)
