The Friedenskapelle stands right by the wayside and has some beautiful elements. Inside, behind the steel grate door, there is a small altar with a statue of Mary. Outside the chapel, a detailed painting can be seen on three walls. Directly in front of the chapel, there is an information board for the Slow Trail Faaker See.

The church is located along the pilgrimage and cycling path, next to a farm and in a pasture. The pasture can also be ridden through when used by herds. Sometimes there may be cows or horses standing directly on the path. The water source is an excellent refuelling station for cyclists.

Sword finds, inscribed stones, and burial mounds prove that Landskron was already settled in the 9th century BC. Several of these finds are now walled into the Crown Hall. A charter from King Carloman from 878 AD reports that the property was donated to the Altötting Monastery in Bavaria. In 1028, Count Ozzi appeared as the new lord of the manor, followed by the Counts of Sternberg, who built a castle. In 1330, the estate was sold to the Counts of Ortenburg.
