The church is located on the highest point of the harbor village of Adamas (Adamantas). Due to its prominent location, it is visible from afar and serves as a landmark of the town. Built in 1880, it is a three-aisled church with a vaulted dome. Its architecture combines traditional stylistic elements. It has a dual dedication: Koimisis Theotokou (Assumption of the Virgin Mary or Dormition of the Virgin Mary) and Agios Charalambos (Saint Charalambos) – the latter name being more common among the locals.

One of the most impressive places on Milos. Visit as early in the morning as possible, as Instagram & Co have already discovered this place.

The most famous fishing town on Milos. Postcard motif. Full in summer. Reminds me a little of Little Venice on Mykonos.

These deep cuts and caves in the rock are impressively lapped by the surf.

It's good to get the bus to Pollonia and then walk, once you are off the road you will have the route to yourself until you reach the white stones. This spot is easily accessed by vehicles and can be very busy. Lots of places to swim and cool off on the way.
