The Palais für aktuelle Kunst (also known as Palais Quasi non Possidentes) was built in the first half of the 17th century (approx. 1630-1650) in the Dutch late Renaissance style. It is one of the three surviving city palaces from the founding period of Glückstadt. The two-story plastered building features a division of eight window bays and monumental colossal pilasters, topped by a large hipped roof. A striking detail above the entrance is the ornate sandstone portal surround with ornaments and an oval field.
