In 1735 the Holy Trinity Church in Zossen was consecrated. The plastered building has the ground plan of a transverse hall church with a church tower in front of the central axis of the south-west long side, which is unusual for the region. The architect was Christoph Gottlieb Hedemann. The interior is in the style of a simple baroque, the organ from the year 1960 is from the organ builder Hans-Joachim Schuke from Potsdam. After a fire in 1873, the municipality used the necessary repair work to implement some change requests. For example, a roof-shaped rising wooden ceiling was installed in the main room, which still characterizes the interior today. In the time of the GDR, parts of the interior were treated with the carcinogenic wood preservative DDT, which led to extensive detoxification measures after the reunification. A special feature is in the room behind the pulpit: a ring of straw, which the Prussian commander ordered in 1813 to set fire to the church when the French approached. Visitation Sun. after the service or after registration Mon. to Fri. in the parish office, Kirchplatz 4, Tel. 03377-335630, or in the parish office.
