At the Bliesdorfer Weg level crossing, this very well-preserved signal box B3 is located on the Wriezen - Frankfurt (Oder) line. The signal box was built around 1909, and decommissioning was on 30.08.2016. It is a mechanical signal box of the Zimmermann & Buchloh type (new design). Source and further info: https://stellwerke.info/stw/stw.php?id=7384 The signal box was supposed to be demolished in 2022, but there is apparently a private buyer. The building has been secured and there is a mailbox.

With the construction of the Eberswalde-Frankfurt (Oder) railway line starting in 1866, the establishment of a station in Wriezen became necessary. On January 1, 1867, the railway line to Eberswalde was opened, followed in 1876 by the line to Frankfurt/Oder. In 1892, the lines to Jädickendorf and to Berlin (Wriezener Bahn) were put into operation. The foundation stone for the station building was laid on August 26, 1895, and the station was inaugurated on September 15, 1895. From 1911, the Oderbruchbahn from Golzow or Seelow also ended in Wriezen. In 1945, the station was completely destroyed, rebuilt in 1950, and inaugurated on September 1, 1951. Today, the station is merely a stop on the RB60 line of the NEB (Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn). The station building is a listed monument and is currently not in use. Source: Bürgerinformation Wriezen

This interestingly designed fountain on the theme of Oderbruch and narrow-mindedness is an eye-catcher. It is also a feature of St. Mary's Church, which has had a roof again since April 24. The roof only covers part of the nave. The size of the original version can be seen in the partially plastered tower and the uncovered outer walls. 😉
