In 1907, a predecessor of the current mill burned down in the north of Vitte. Afterwards, Waldemar Schwartz, a miller and master baker in Norderende since 1893, acquired a used mill. It had previously stood in Demmin and was dismantled into individual parts there. After being transported by ship to the island of Hiddensee, it was rebuilt near Vitte. After Hiddensee was electrified at the end of the 1920s, the mill's sails were dismantled and it was converted to electric drive. The mill head and the shaft remained. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windm%C3%BChle_(Vitte)

What the beach at Neuendorf has to offer Finest and flat sandy beach. Dunes overgrown with beach grass and hidden sand hollows. A wide view. Peace. Serenity. Bathing fun. One can only be enthusiastic about the Neuendorf beach. South of Neuendorf and along the dune heath, it is truly deserted, now and then a few beach walkers come towards you. You can walk a bit along the shore, collect shells or stones, stop, spread out a blanket, read, stare at the sky, follow the movement of the clouds, bathe in the Baltic Sea, get dressed again and walk on. You can also admire the beach art in the form of labyrinths laid out with stones, walk around them, or retreat to the dunes for a love tryst. https://reiseziel-hiddensee.de/strand-bei-neuendorf/#more-2048
