What kind of natural landscapes can we expect to see on family hikes in Sedgefield?

Sedgefield's family-friendly trails showcase a diverse range of landscapes. You can expect serene lake views, lush indigenous forests with milkwood and yellowwood trees, coastal dunes, and vibrant fynbos. Are there any interesting landmarks or viewpoints along the family-friendly trails?

Absolutely! Many trails offer points of interest. You might encounter beautiful lakes like Hurworth Burn Reservoir or Hardwick Park Tower and Lake. The region is also known for its stunning coastal views, especially from spots like Gericke's Point, which reveals dramatic tidal pools at low tide. The Wynyard Woodland Park – Thorpe Wood also offers a lovely trail experience.
