The long distance walk The Yorkshire Heritage Way goes through Saltaire and the World Heritage site at Fountains Abbey on its way from Bradford Cathedral to Ripon Cathedral. On a personal note my Dad taught art to a young David Hockney at Bradford Grammar School ( tbf my dad always said with talent like that it was more a matter of being encouraging and not getting in the way )

This is such a well kept park. The Half Moon Cafe is open and also the bar The Boathouse Inn overlooking the river
