Great decor, bring a snack; there's a table and chairs, a cold beer, or juice from the cellar vault. Very nicely decorated and a lovely spot.

Cafe Zimt & Zucker on Lindenstraße has a great selection of cakes and tarts. You can sit outside by the babbling Eschach River. The staff are very friendly, and the food was delicious. 👍

The town fountain was inaugurated on August 20, 1868, and was initially located next to the town hall, where it had to make way for the modern Gänseliesl fountain in 1970. In 1973, it was re-erected in front of the Protestant Trinity Church. The octagonal fountain is adorned with a neo-Gothic turret. In it stands an old German Landsknecht with top-boots and a floppy hat, armed with a lance and sword.

The grave of the Allgäu priest, H. Hieber, in Merazhofen is a must-visit. The many thank-you plaques invite you to converse with him. Many healings have occurred.
