This route takes you through a quiet forest and along an idyllic lake. If you enjoy birdwatching, you will have a lot of fun here – it is a small paradise for nature lovers. The path was created in collaboration with Gisselfeld Kloster and Faxe Kommune. Important: The forest is private, so access is only permitted between sunrise and sunset. Sometimes access may be completely blocked. If the entire route becomes too long for you, you can easily shorten it in Paradishaven.

According to legend, the chief's son Rollo, who conquered the land at the mouth of the Seine around 900, came from Faxe. The town was first mentioned in 1280.
