Very nice place on the beach, particularly rewarding for a break. Chilling in the sun or resting in the shade of the trees.

This is the Rosendal estate. Rosendal is a manor house and estate 3.5 km south of Faxe in south-eastern Denmark. Until 1781 it was largely owned by the intermarried Rosenkrantz and Juul families. The three-winged main building and the three-winged courtyard (avlsgården) were entered in the Danish Register of Protected Buildings and Places in 1950. The two-storey main wing dates from 1849 and was designed by Michael Gottlieb Bindesbøll, although some of the other buildings date from the 17th century. Rosendal is now owned by the Hong Kong-based Danish shipping family Jebsen. Source and more: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosendal_(manor_house)

Here it rolls slightly undulating through the landscape between Faxe and the village of Vemmetofte. Those who want to go to the coast from Faxe are in good hands on this route. Asphalt is a bit rough before Vemmetofte, but still very drivable. Otherwise perfect. p.s. Unfortunately, the pictures are a bit blurry because I was soaked in water on the exit from above...
