The first i2030 measures are becoming visible at Brieselang station. Even before the planned major expansion of the railway line, the project partners, together with the municipality, financed an upgrade of the pedestrian tunnel (https://www.i2030.de/gemeinde-und-schienenausbauprojekt-i2030-werten-fussgaengertunnel-am-bahnhof-brieselang-auf/). The new wall panels feature motifs from the municipality and i2030. The creative ideas for the Brieselang section came from local young people who were recruited for the design through public participation. The pedestrian tunnel at Brieselang station has also been expanded in anticipation of the expansion plans.
