The viaduct of the disused Berlin-Koblenz Railway (Kanonenbahn) spans the Efze Valley near Relbehausen. Five pillars support the track at a height of up to 31 meters. The railway was built in the 1870s and originally connected Berlin and Metz in Alsace-Lorraine. Freight traffic continued until 2002.

The present church, constructed of basalt stones and sandstone cornerstones, was built between 1890 and 1892. It stands on the site of a much smaller predecessor, from which a special relic is said to have survived: the Boniface Stone dating from 750. In front of the church is the beautifully landscaped square under the linden tree with the old village fountain and various seating areas.

The linden tree, a traditional village tree on Lindenring, stands in a small meadow directly by the churchyard gate. It is said to be about 1,000 years old (information board). This natural monument is hollow inside. In the past, courts and celebrations were held under the tree, hence the name "Dancing Linden Tree." The Elisabeth Trail from Eisenach to Marburg also passes by here. The current Protestant church was built as a hall building in 1801 and rebuilt in 1881.
