It is neither a border stone nor a milestone, but "a sculpture by the now deceased Mörfelden stonemason Karl Koban. He carved it for the fun of it and set it up on the Gundweg. The stone consists of a conical column of coarse Rotliegend with a superimposed, grooved sphere of sandstone. On the front, a face can be recognized; below it, a plate is inserted, provided with four coins (1 Euro and 1 Cent as well as 1 Mark and 1 Pfennig), which are unfortunately no longer present, and the year 2002. On the ground, there is a plaque with coordinate information, which, however, does not match the location, but points to a spot 500 meters away (G. Ulsamer). On the back, there is a granite plaque with a Euro symbol, below it a plaque with the inscription "1999 Koban-K.". From Willy Ott's website https://www.steine-in-der-dreieich.de/strassensteine.html
