Beautiful small pond near Bispingen.. the numerous water lilies offer a pretty photo opportunity. You can always observe swans and other water birds there.

The menu is very extensive: pasta, beef, fresh fish, and local specialties like Heidschnucke (a type of sheep). The portion sizes are easily filling.

The neo-Gothic St. Anthony's Church was designed by architect Eduard Wendebourg and completed in 1908. Of artistic interest are the pulpit from 1648 and the bronze baptismal font from 1406, which were taken from the Old Church. The organ is a Baroque-style two-manual instrument with 22 stops, built in 1974 by the Ott company. The organ was renovated in 1991 by the von Beckerath company. Boulders from the surrounding area were used for the base and the tower's brickwork.

In Bispingen, there's a small but appealing sculpture of a shepherd with Heidschnucken sheep, located in front of or next to the church. The bronze statue, mounted on a boulder, is a visible symbol of the Lüneburg Heath and is located in the center of Bispingen. Behind the statue, there's an information board about the Heidschnuckenweg, a hiking trail that runs from Celle to Hamburg.

I think the small lake is fed by the Luhe River. Large carpets of water lilies float on the lake.
