On Lake Washington this is the happening place! I stopped while paddling past today and listened to a few tunes from the band playing outside. There were a lot of people sitting at tables, and a lot of boats floating and listening to the music. The boat launch next door is listed on the DNR's site as public, so this is another place to get on the lake.

Nice place to relax by the water on the edge of the woods in a quiet bay on Lake Washington with a picnic table, bench and a few chairs right on the water you could put your feet in the water while you sit.

We hoped that we could find a public park in Madison Lake with a shaded picnic table but the only public park we could find in Madison Lake was a small children's playground with two benches and no shade. So we settled for the Anchor Bar and Grill, located right on the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail, which for the price of a beer, provided shaded seating.
