Anyone who recommends this as a mountain bike trail is out of their mind, especially the northern section. The risk of accidents is very high, so it's strongly discouraged.

It should be a mountain bike

It includes many falling tree branches or trunks on the way. Sometimes you have to carry bike up to shoulder to cross those obstacles. Also very steep and slippery slopes require some techniques to push bike up and it can be dangerous. Sometimes I fell down with my bike. At the end of the route, a way out is hidden on a small hill and it was so difficult to carry up my bike up. So if you plan to roll on this route with mountain bike, plan more time and be aware of the difficulties. Entering the route in a rainy day is not recommended.

There is a trail on the lakeshore between Leezen and Görslow. You can ride this with MTB. But not during or shortly after rain. Lots of small and a few larger trees across the path. Carry it over or under it and do it many times. In places very sloping and narrow with edges broken off towards the lake. Strong short climbs that are very smooth. Lots of tree stump remains, roots and stones. Sometimes really not passable, not for city or trekking bikes. Or beginners have no business there because they would probably only push over 5 km. Actually the path is just a hiking trail which is not really recommended for hikers. 5km that are tough, nice if you get through in one piece.

Technically demanding, especially when it's wet, you have to dismount in some places, but it's worth it!
