In November 1967 M/S Norfrost was sailing from Hammerfest to Helsingborg with frozen fish in the holds. After an explosion in the hold, she caught fire on November 26, 1967, drifted ashore and stranded there. The wreck was later destroyed in storms, the bow is still partially visible.
