Jenin Reformed Church from 1745 Jenin's church, a restrained building located between the town hall and the Speaker's House, impresses with its Baroque tower and remarkable gravestones from the 17th to 19th centuries. The nave was built after a village fire in 1745. Description Restless yet prominently positioned building, located between the town hall and the Speaker's House. The slender, onion-shaped Baroque tower dominates the nave, built after a village fire in 1745. Painted corner blocks and color scheme are reminiscent of the rectory, the Salishaus, located further east. A very popular peak, which appears invincible from afar, but loses some of its "terror" with every meter you approach. The sensational view is a reward for every single drop of sweat.

We started our tour to climb the Schesaplana at the Douglasshütte, which is easily accessible via the Lünerseebahn. The first part of the route leads through cozy greenery past the Lünersee. The route continued towards the Totalphütte. Here the climb was more challenging but for us guys with average fitness it was definitely doable without any problems. The paths are also well signposted and labeled. The path between Totalphütte and Schesaplana is quite challenging and (according to the route recording) has a gradient of around 28% in the last third. Tips: Take good shoes and enough to drink with you and reward yourself on the descent with a cool drink and delicious food in the Totalphütte 🍻
