This is one of the hidden gems of Vitosha. It is relatively easy accessible - you should walk a small ski piste from Ostritsa hut (60 m. ascent) and then there is a tiny (not so easy to find) path to the peak. The view is incredible but the best thing is that the chance to meet somebody there is very small so it is your private view to Studena dam, Kladnica, Rutartsi and Marchaevo and a beautiful landscape.

There are two routes to use. They command from the main road after the village of Filipovtsi. The one with red markings is easier. If you want a longer walk, you can also start from the village of Vrabcha.

There are many people. If you want to buy food in the hut, prepare for the long wait.

The highest point of the Vitosha, perfect for fast walk from Sofia. You can reach the peak from many places: Aleko, Zheleznitsa, Zvezditsa hut, Zlatnite mostove, Selimitsa hut, etc.. You can have pancakes early in the morning or soups, but during the week it is closed. Usually it is overcrowded, but you can find place on south.

It is always pleasure for me to visit this peak. Actually it is visited very rarely (it is not overcrowded as Cherni vrah) so it is very relaxing. The view is beautiful too. There is no road to it from Samara shalter, but you can walk over the bushes.
