Constructed during the mid-19th century, Maol Bhuidhe was once a family home in this remote countryside between Glen Shiel and Glen Carron. It was abandoned early in the 20th century and it wasn't until the 1960s when the MBA took over stewardship of the building, then badly in need of repair. These days, there are two downstairs rooms and plenty of space in the attic for those exploring the North West Highlands. It's a good base camp for some of Scotland's more remote Munros, such as Lurg Mhòr and Bidean à Choire Sheasgaich. The Killilan Forest's trio of Corbetts can also be accessed from the bothy.

The Uags Bothy sits above a small rocky beach with sweeping views of the Inner Sound to Scalpay, Raasay and Skye. It was once part of a small settlement – the ruins are still visible close by. The bothy has two rooms and an attic with another two rooms. It is equipped with a fireplace, tables and benches. Out of the summer months, this location sees few visitors. The trail (if there is one) is hard to follow in places, but some cairns are there to help.

A picturesque little bothy with plenty of space. Just of the path and not a long walk from the road, a good landmark and stopping point on the Cape Wrath trail or when ascending the nearby Munro. There is an upstairs and a small fireplace downstairs.

Great bothy owned and managed by Attadale Estate. Good supply of firewood for the stoves but maybe take some kindling.
