If you’re looking for an easy, relaxing walk with ocean views, Oceanside City Beach is a great spot. The nearby trail from Buccaneer Beach to Tyson Street Park is mostly flat and perfect for all fitness levels. Along the way, you’ll catch beautiful sea breezes, beach playgrounds, and plenty of space to stretch your legs. It’s especially nice early morning or late afternoon when it’s quieter, and the sun is not so strong.

This 473-acre Reserve is home to coastal sage scrub, grasslands and wildlife. It was used for mountain biking in the past, but bikes are now prohibited. Hiking, however is allowed. The trails can be a bit rocky and some are unmarked. There are also some small creek crossings throughout the reserve, so plan your hike accordingly.
