Highlight of our tour of the unique Hätteboda campsite. The spots are absolutely gorgeous. The area stretches about 500m along a lake and one spot is more beautiful than the other. Highly recommended is Eagle Point - a peninsula where you can cross a bridge to beautiful places. In May free choice of seats, in summer a reservation is recommended, then at least 5 nights. Reception hours are 9am-10am and 5pm-6pm. Priced around €30/night. Without electricity. Toilets are small wooden huts where you pump water with a foot pump. There are small covered spots with gas cookers and sinks, canoe rentals and wood storage for BBQs. You should also definitely visit the Valhalla Grotto here.

A really close-to-nature campsite off the beaten track and therefore very nicely located. Access via a 7 km long 'blind end' road. But this driveway through the lakes is already very beautiful. The Åsnen lake region has been a national park since 2018.

A really great and natural campsite. If you want to camp like in the wild, this is the place for you. Electricity and running water are non-existent.

In 1994 we were back from a visit to the Caribbean. Nostalgic thoughts were awakened to work in tourism again. So the idea arose on the grounds of our homestead to build a campsite after ours build your own pattern. After a lot of bureaucratic work, we got our approval in September 1997. Our basic idea was to offer our guests a quiet and simply designed camping opportunity in nature, by the lake and in the forest, where families can meet around the campfire and make acquaintances. Barbecue, fishing, paddling and listening to the birds, we wanted to give something that modern man misses. We didn't want electricity because television, computers and loud noises go hand in hand with it that would disturb the quiet. We believe there is a need to go back to the original state - at least for a few days. The pitches should be far apart to create a small private area around the camping family. With all of this we also want the children to be able to develop their own creative games, as they did in the past. Source: https://www.vildmarkscamping.se/de/wir-uber-uns-19659898
