As part of Legacy Parks Foundation's initiative, this 300-acre preserve features over 40 miles of trails to hike, run and mountain bike, a large quarry to fish and paddle in, a rock climbing crag with 12 bolted routes, and a nature center with an educational raptor center. From the tranquil river-side paths close to the center, to the rugged Quarry and Natural Area Trail System across the road along Meads Quarry, Ijams Nature Center provides an exceptional outdoor experience for people of all ages.
