Another place that's good to have hiking poles. This one also would have been nice to have my micro spikes along for the ice.

And I was hoping to make this a Cycling highlight in addition to road cycling. It's a quiet town, but has had some troubles in the past, and I'm not sure about the motorcycle club that has it's headquarters here.

Great town with a nice rest stop in the middle of the Great River Ridge State Trail. Makes it a great starting point, and you can go to one end, come back, take a break, then goto the other end.

I usually start my hikes up at the park enterance parking lot, as the gates to get down here are closed during the winter, but it's a stopping point along my hike.
