A lot of new trees have been planted here, next to each tree there is a sign with the name and a detailed description of the tree and when it was planted, very interesting. There are also enough benches in this park for a break, it's best to park your bike at the front and explore the park on foot 👍

There are several stone coffins from the 12th century in the former cemetery. The coffins made of Mainz sandstone were probably used to bury wealthy merchants in places that were later submerged in storm floods. The coffins washed out in the mudflats were used for a long time as watering holes for livestock. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Willehad_(Leck)

The Protestant church of St. Willehad in Leck was built around 1299. There are still some parts of the building from the time of its foundation, such as the north portal. The church tower was only built in the 19th century. The current church still has side walls from the old church. Inside there is a carved altar from 1530. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. https://luftkurort-leck.de/erleben/sehenswuerdigkeiten/

A quaint name, top quality and cult in this area, everyone knows Calli. There are people in the town of Leck in North Friesland who plan their annual vacation during Calli Schaschlik's company holidays. They don't want to miss out on the culinary offerings of their cult snack bar for a single day. Because everything they get at Calli, often after a long line, is made by hand. "I can't believe how patiently some customers wait until it's finally their turn," marvels the trained chef and junior manager Christian Paulsen. For more than 50 years, in the third generation, the Paulsens have been sizzling for their customers right on the main street in Leck. It all started with Grandpa Calli. He fried the first Lecker Schaschlik. Grandpa Calli is no more, but his name is honored, which is important to the Paulsens. The family is part of their recipe for success. Because whether you're a local Lecker or a vacationer, at Calli Schaschlik everyone feels like they're at their mother's stove. https://www.ndr.de/fernsehen/sendungen/die_nordreportage/Lecker-Kult-Calli-Eine-Familie-lebt-Imbiss,sendung1288264.html
