Not much to see on the outside, there is some information outside the castle and also near the rest area across the road.

The Opaliński Castle Museum in Sieraków is housed in the rebuilt southern wing of a former fortress from the late 14th century, once owned by the Nałęcz family, and later the Opaliński family. The current building was rebuilt in the 1990s to house, among other things, the Opaliński family sarcophagi discovered in 1991. Exhibitions present the history of the Sieraków region – from archaeological finds to the present day. The building is located in the city center, near the Warta River, making it a good stopover on a cycling route. It's worth visiting the interior to see the historic coffins and learn about the region's history.

I went to this place on purpose thinking that there would be more of it than in the photos posted by one of the users of this portal and I will not regret it. Well, I got there, and unfortunately I was disappointed. I will not even mention the access road itself, where it was impossible to drive through the sandy terrain at all and you had to change your route, driving around either on asphalt or paved with cobblestones (stones). It is difficult to call this place a park, it is far from it. Let's say that it is an ordinary forest with plastic mushrooms placed thanks to the initiative of the local community. Some of them (the larger ones) are impressive, but there is nothing special. A nice idea were the houses made in the theme of mushrooms-toadstools, which you can enter. The statue of a deer placed in the middle of the hill so that it looks out at the surrounding area made the biggest impression on me. Quite a nice effect. There are benches under a roof on the spot, you can rest. There are waste bins, the area is quite well-kept. The only downside is the two toilet cubicles available for public use, as of June 2025 I do not recommend even going there, there is a risk of radiation (that's how I felt and quickly lost my appetite for everything). :P If you are going with children, there are a few swings nearby. When driving by, you can drop in for a moment, but to go there specifically, I repeat - I do not recommend it.

The Sapieha Palace in Wieleń is an impressive residence located on the Noteć River, one of the most important monuments in Wielkopolska. Built in the 18th century, it combines Baroque and Classicist features, and its surroundings include a picturesque landscape park. It was once the seat of the Sapieha family, and today it delights with its monumental structure and historical character. It is an ideal place for a bike trip, especially for lovers of architecture and history. It is worth taking a camera, because the palace and its surroundings offer beautiful views, especially during the golden autumn or spring blossoms.
