November 21, 2023, Canopy Bridge

The 17-mile Miccosukee Greenway Trail is mostly on paths within the dense forest. However, at this point, the trail leaves the dirt roads and goes up onto the canopy bridge, a wooden structure, which is the only elevation on the entire path.

A large part of the trail keeps you under the canopy. This bridge brings a bit of height to your hike.
