Named for the old bridge across the River Aire, Apperley Bridge is a village on the city boundaries of Leeds and Bradford. The canal marina is a vibrant spot, whilst the twin arches of the old bridge are a pretty sight. With many old, listed buildings and traditional pubs, it is a splendid waterside setting for a rest stop on any hike.
